 At Farm Veterinary Services is an equine practice in Plymouth, California. Centrally located for El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, and Sacramento County locations.

We are a caring, up-to-date practice that can attend to your horse at our facility, or at your farm.

We have DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHIC CAPABILITY (X-ray) that is mobile, Digital Ultrasound, and Thermography technology available. 

As for equine reproduction, we offer a full breeding facility to board, collect, and ship semen for your stallion. Or, if you are a mare owner, we will board and breed your mare with fresh, chilled, or frozen semen. 

We also boast a covered arena at our faclility, which enables us to perform lameness and prepurchase examinations in all weather conditions.

Whether we care for your horse At Our Farm, or At Your Farm; we will treat you and your horse with respect, and care.

Dr. Jim Garfinkel has been riding horses since he was two years old. Since then, Dr. Garfinkel has been trained and ridden horses for and in many disiplines including:

Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, Cutting, and even Throughbred race horses.

His love of horses and his life-long commitment ensures that your horse will be treated by someone that understands and knows how to handle a horse with respect and confidence.
